While reading books, newspapers and various articles you often wonder and ask yourself how did I start writing or where did I learn the art from? Writing is an art. Creating words is magic and it gives you power to express yourself without speaking. If you have ever thought about writing a novel or an article or something on a piece of small paper, you are definitely on the right track of writing. That is putting the pen and paper to use, or let us say the word document in the modern times
So there are few basic rules that you have to follow in order to get your writing done and it is simple and easy too.
Rule number one — first try and get into the habit of writing regularly. Let it be anything from a paragraph about yourself to a description of what you did in a day. Give yourself time limit and discipline yourself to write in that stipulated time. Writing is a self disciplined job and you have to push yourself to attain that conformity first.
Rule number two — now get out into the market and buy yourself few books on writing, open up you cardboard box that is in the attic. Dust those books out and start reading them. Try and rewrite each story in your own words. When you watching something, go back to you desk and rewrite that. This will give your thoughts an order of words and it will also help you in exercising and honoring your writing skills.
Rule number three — if you already have an idea for the book that you want to write in you head, start to work on the characters. First write down whatever you have in your head about the story. Than go back to it after a couple of days and see if this is what you want. By reading it over and over again, you will realize that there is more to be added or deleted. Never waste time when you get a line or a character. Put it down immediate on the paper and it will be useful later. By the end of a month you will have enough material to start a few pages of chapter one!
